Find your purpose! Come be part of the new Early Childhood Partial Hospitalization Program, a first in the Midwest to provide care for patients ages 3-5 years old! Clara's House is in the process of expanding our building to open an Early Childhood Unit. Early identification and treatment for children ages 3-5 who are experiencing severe emotional, physiological, behavioral, and /or developmental difficulties that impact their ability to function at home, preschool, childcare, or community settings.
The Clara's House Early Childhood Hospitalization Program will provide an opportunity to intervene early, by providing evidence-based and trauma-informed treatment interventions, which are particularly important during the early childhood years. The program will also enhance responsive caregiver-child relationships and effective parenting skills during the child's earliest years of life which is crucial for promoting foundational child development and wellbeing.Schedule
Full-time | 64-80 hours every two weeks | Clara's HouseMonday - Friday | 7:30 am - 4:00 pm | No weekends or major holidaysAnticipated start date: December 2024 - January 2025
Pay and Benefits
$18.90 or more per hour, pay determined by experienceFull-time benefits: medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a human services fieldA valid Minnesota class D driver's license and a driving record in good standing may be requiredSkills and knowledge in the provision of therapeutic education and activitiesKnowledge of medical and psychiatric diagnosis and the associated symptomsAbility to teach a variety of education and creative activities
