If you meet the below requirements and are seeking a part time position, please apply!RequirementsBachelor's degree in related field (public health, sexuality, reproductive health, education) or minimum two years of experience in program facilitation for youth/young adults or equivalent combination of education and experienceJob DutiesFacilitate multiple LGBTQIA+ youth spaces in Chester CountyFacilitate, lead and develop weekly/biweekly group sessions for members in our groupsDevelop age appropriate and inclusive programming including educational, social and recreational activitiesManage a group of volunteers to aid with facilitation of the groupWork closely with the LGBTEA Alliance of Chester County Provide some emotional support to teens facing complicated life circumstances (discrimination, bullying, abuse, isolation/loneliness, gender dysphoria, mental illness etc.)Be familiar with local and national resources that are specific to LGBTQIA+ youth to provide to the group as neededProvide community outreach to market groups and recruit participantsIndependently solves routine problems and selects solutions from a variety of established standards and procedures.Makes routine, relatively low-cost expenditures with prior approval from Associate Director of Education.Regular contact with supervisor and other ED/PD Department staff and administrative staff in assigned schools and partner organizations. Recognizes the value of diversity and maintains relationships with staff and external audiences that respect individual dignity.Responsible for supervising SPOT/Rainbow Phoenix volunteers, and occasional internsIndividual and group facilitation skills.Knowledge of sexuality education and adolescent developmentKnowledge of LGBTQIA identitiesAbility to perform job responsibilities with minimal supervisionAbility to travel throughout Chester CountyStrong organizational skillsStrong understanding of setting boundaries with young peopleAbility and desire to work well in a team environmentAbility to strictly maintain confidentiality of all PPSP activities and clientsAvailability to work evenings and occasional weekendsDesire and commitment to working with youthAbility to demonstrate mature judgment, initiative, and critical thinkingCompetence with computer software programs for writing, researching, and communicatingAbility to manage time independently to complete multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyCultural sensitivity and ability to understand and relate to people of all identities, ages, socioeconomic and ethnic backgroundsPlanned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania (PPSP) is an equal employment opportunity employer.
