Eaton's IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Quality Auditor Technician. The hours for this role are 7:00AM - 3:30PM The hourly rate for this position is $26-$28/hour per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you'll do:Summary: Responsible to drive quality improvement initiatives, perform the assessments of the Quality Management System (QMS), compliance verifications, Operator audits, and gap analysis to ensure Mission Systems of Orchard Park is meeting and exceeding internal, customer, and industry standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. •Perform certified operator audits at initial qualification and at regular frequencies to monitor adherence to policies and procedures. •Perform internal audits (i.e., sweep, job, process, follow-up, AS9100).•Support regulatory and third-party audits, investigations, and inquiries regarding the control and assessment of product design and manufacturing quality.•Assist with reporting the health of the QMS to the management team based on the assessments to allow for collaborative course corrections.•Assist with the generation and update of processes, procedures, standard works, and audit checklists.•Responsible for ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities.Qualifications:•Candidates are required to possess an Associate degree in a technical field or a High School Diploma/GED, accompanied by a minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing setting, specifically in a quality, industrial, or mechanical position.•1 year of auditing experience•This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
