Flex is seeking a creative and culturally savvy Social Media Manager who has a proven track record of growing a brand’s voice and organic social media presence, especially on TikTok. This role will be responsible for managing our social strategy across all platforms, creating engaging content, and working with influencers and user-generated content (UGC) to build and grow our community. You’ll play a key role in shaping how Flex shows up in the digital space, using your skills in content creation, storytelling, and trendspotting to amplify our brand’s voice and reach.

Our ideal candidate will be passionate about social media and have experience making viral content that drives engagement. They’ll support our Head of PR & Community and broader marketing team to execute our content strategy while managing influencer relationships and UGC programs to deliver against a coordinated marketing calendar. Key Responsibilities:

Manage Social Channels

Execute content strategy, lead by Head of PR & Community, to attract, engage, and grow our community across all platforms, with an emphasis on TikTok.

Surface ideas, collect repostable content, optimize content based on insights and trends.

Attend meetings to review channel performance, discuss upcoming content queue, and share influencer/UGC program updates. Submit creative briefs, as needed.

Turn ideation into shareable content by creating native video content and managing internal and external content creators (e.g. Flex team, Influencers, UGC) and their content.

Schedule and ensure delivery of posts with appropriate copy, hashtags, tags, linkinbio urls, and/or shoppable links if applicable.

Monitor social media accounts daily to engage with customers, flag comments for moderation, and amplify our voice.

Assist with ad hoc marketing events and projects as needed, e.g. brand events, pop-ups, or retail specific initiatives.

Project Manage Influencer and UGC Programs

Identify customer testimonial videos and secure permission to repost.

Build a process to collect and curate share life-changing customer testimonials, experimenting with ways to acquire and feature these stories.

Support Head of PR & Community with affiliates management on TikTok.

Evaluate affiliate metrics (e.g. engagement, views, comment quality, and audience) to identify and grow a funnel of curated list of influencers/affiliates.

Develop strategic, authentic, product/symptom/themed campaigns for affiliate collaborations and manage the execution (budget, contracts, product samples, content creation, and posting schedule).

Analyze post-campaign metrics to assess the success of influencer collaborations.

Requirements:

3-5 years experience leading social media strategy and content creation for an omnichannel CPG brand.

Natural storyteller who can quickly learn and emulate our brand DNA, voice, and goals.

Demonstrated success at growing both CPG brand and individual social media profiles, TikTok a plus.

Experience managing influencers and outside agencies, a plus.

Comfort level with analyzing data and using those insights to take action and drive measurable improvements in social media strategy.

Clear communicator capable of delivering detailed briefs for internal and external stakeholders.

Strong awareness of US social media best practices, platform knowledge, and understanding measurement metrics of success.

Experience starring in and quickly editing video content (a large part of the role).

Lives and breathes social, culturally tapped-in, creative, passionate, funny.

Open to testing, iterating, and pivoting for insights and results.

Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing, data-driven/goal-focused environment.

Collaborative team player who enjoys working cross-functionally.

Comfortable talking about all things vagina.
