Within Global Impact, the Global Communications team functions as a global center of excellence meant to promote and protect the McDonald’s brand and grow the business.We’re looking for a Manager, Transformation Communications to support our global communications strategy aimed to equip leaders to drive and protect McDonald’s brand reputation by generating pride, confidence, and trust in our multi-year enterprise transformation strategy focused on modernizing McDonald’s ways of working. This role will be based in Chicago, IL, and you will report to the Director, Transformation Communications. You will be a member of the broader Global Impact and Global Communications team.Key Responsibilities:Partner with the team to develop and implement an

enterprise transformation communication strategy

for engaging global System audiences.Partner across the global business to engage and encourage all three legs of the stool (suppliers, franchisees, and employees) on our enterprise transformation ambitions.Draft content including talking points, leader messages, and FAQs to bring audiences along our enterprise transformation journey.Serve as strategic advisor, cultivating trusted partnership with business leaders and their teams.Drive proactive and reactive

communication planning and material development for enterprise-wide transformation milestone announcements , including project management, sequencing strategy, executive communications, talking points, Q&A, among other materials.Develop

key transformation communications assets

to provide a common framework for our leaders to talk about our enterprise transformation narrative and vision with consistency.Qualifications:BA/BS degree requiredPrior corporate communication experience – both in strategy development and in executionOutstanding writing and editing skills, with an eye to messaging for a range of channels and audience typesExcellent verbal communications skillsAbility to navigate, orchestrate, and work through complex issues with a strategic, tactical, and new perspectiveShown ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and support multiple high-priority work streamsSelf-starter with strong sense of initiative and focused on resultsEffective collaborator who will work cross-functionally across teams, geographies, and time zonesStrong project management skills and experience managing partner relationships, SMEs, and cross-functional partnersAdditional Information:McDonald’s is an equal opportunity employer committed to the diversity of our workforce.
