Position Overview:Do you have experience with Splunk? Our cyber security group has a great opportunity for someone to bring their passion, dedication, and expertise to support the event management team! You will be a part of the engineering efforts to craft, build and maintain new Splunk SaaS platform and expand log collection across a large hybrid environment.
Responsibilities:
Act as a Splunk enterprise Subject Matter Expert
Architect, design, support, and maintain high availability SaaS Splunk deployment
Maintain Splunk architectural diagrams and documentation
Troubleshoot integration challenges and configuration issues
Responsible for onboarding and maintaining a wide variety of data sources to include various OS, appliances, and application logs
Qualifications:
5-7 years hands-on experience administering enterprise security tools
3+ years of experience with deploying, configuring, and performing functional testing and data validation in a Splunk environment
Experience designing and implementing Splunk installations from the ground up, including all various server roles (Search Head, Indexers, Heavy Forwarders and Universal Forwarders, etc.)
Must have sophisticated knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, and cloud technologies
Preferred certifications: Splunk Certified, CISSP, AWS/GCP/Azure
