We are a unique, dynamic practice that continues to see explosive growth because of the unique philosophy of treating a person's overall dental health rather than simply focusing on only the specific symptoms that our patients present. Our passion is to deliver the highest caliber and most comprehensive care that dentistry can offer, offering full preventive services via a hybrid of conventional and holistic, biological functional dentistry, including ozone therapy, reconstructive dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, periodontics, endodontics, dental sleep medicine (appliance therapy), implant dentistry, and TMD (Temporomandibular Joint Disorders) therapy — all under one roof! We continually upgrade our technology to ensure we are providing our patients next generation care and we are looking for a General Dentist ideally with at least 3 years of experience who wants to be part of our culture of continuous learning to leverage the latest in technology and treatments to deliver the best care possible to our patients AND is looking to purchase an equity stake in this very successful practice!
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Patient Consultations and Examinations:Conduct thorough oral examinations to assess patients' dental health.Diagnose and discuss dental conditions with patients.Develop and present treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.Dental Treatments:Perform routine dental procedures, including cleanings, fillings, and extractions.Administer anesthetics and other medications as needed.Collaborate with specialists for complex dental procedures.Preventive Care:Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.Emphasize the importance of regular dental check-ups for preventive care.Provide fluoride treatments and sealants to prevent dental issues.X-rays and Diagnostic Tests:Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and panoramic films.Analyze diagnostic results to determine appropriate treatment plans.Medical Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.Document treatment plans, procedures performed, and patient progress.Emergency Dental Care:Respond to dental emergencies and provide immediate care.Prescribe medications and follow-up treatment as necessary.Continuing Education:Stay informed about advancements in dentistry through continuous education that is consistent with our philosophy to patient care.Attend workshops, conferences, and seminars to enhance skills and knowledge.Patient Communication:Communicate effectively with patients to address concerns and answer questions.Foster a positive and comfortable environment for patients.Collaboration with Dental Team:Work collaboratively with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff.Participate in team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.Compliance with Regulations:Adhere to all dental regulations, standards, and ethical practices.Stay informed about changes in dental laws and guidelines.
Qualifications:Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.State dental license in good standing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.Proven experience as a General Dentist for at least 3 years.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
