Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Cardiology Services Job Duration: 11 months Shift: 3 x 12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Every other weekend and holiday if applicable Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: More than 1 year of critical care experience preferred License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: NIHSS certification preferred Must-Have: Neuro experience preferred, BSN preferred Job Description: - Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.- Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families.- Effectively communicate pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team.- Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure implementation of those solutions.- Possess clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.- Perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Education: - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. - BSN is preferred.
