QA lead - Duck Creek Testing

Job Title: QA lead Work Location Cincinnati, OH Remote/Onsite : onsite Visa : independent Experience Level: 10 +Job Description: Strong Knowledge on P and C Insurance Domain with hands on in PAS, Billing and Claims Proficient in Duck Creek Testing with minimum of 7 years. Minimum Experience: 10+ yrs in Software Testing & Quality Assurance Should be able to Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated). Should be able to review test cases following the review process. Should possess strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities with quick adaptation to new technology , methodologies and systems. Should be able to triage Defects and perform Root Cause analysis on Defects Proficient in Test Management Tools - Rally/JIRA/HP-QC/VSTS/TFS Should have Detailed and effective written and verbal communication skills Respond to all requests from internal and client team members in a timely professional manner. Comfortable in handling Automation as well as Manual test case execution. Mentor Test Team and co-ordinate with Experience in Framework Designing Evaluate and suggest frameworks that are fit for purpose to expand the automation suite / architecture Identify Tests/Scenarios for automation Build & Maintain Automated Test Scripts and also prepare Test Results/Reports and Publish them Should be able to track the Project Metrics relevant to Automation and also prepare Test Strategy/Plans to acheive the milestone on time Must Have Selenium or Katalon hands on experience along with Framework design API test Hands on Experience Core Java, Python hands on Experience Hands on experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation/SCM Tool (Jenkins/GIT) Well versed with Agile Methodology Proficient in Core Java/Groovy Scripting Sound Knowledge of Testing Framework (Cucumber/TestNG) Sound knowledge on Database concepts and hands on writing basic/complex SQL queries. Good Experience in handling headless Automation ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES Works within QA team to develop and implement automation scripts Participates in functional walkthroughs Participates in the analysis of new requirements and uses cases to develop test approach and deliverables (test approach architecture, scenarios, test conditions, test cases, test data, and expected results) Conducts ad-hoc and exploratory testing Participates in the development of test coverage approach and maintains test plan in test management tool Develops custom tools, utilities or approaches, as required to test the application and features for functional and non-functional requirements Evaluates system behavior prior to and during load tests Enter test cases, analyzes results and documents defects in defect tracking tool Participates in the release management and quality process to validate those solutions meet business requirements Participates in quality management reviews as outlined in the Quality Management practice to ensure adherence to all quality management plans and standards.
