Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Pediatrics / RRT Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: N/A Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: TN license required at time of submission Certifications: COVID-19 Vaccine: Required - No Exemptions, Flu Vaccine: Required - No Exemptions Must-Have: Pediatric experience required Job Description: - Work as a Respiratory Therapist specializing in pediatrics.- Provide care in a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center environment.- Compliance with all guidelines as per the national licensure compact.- Be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed.- Participate in a 16-hour orientation session.- Floating between like units and campuses within a 20-mile radius may be required, though it is rare.- Cerner experience preferred; demonstrate proficiency in relevant healthcare systems.- Include all requested time off in your submission packet; time off not pre-approved during submission will not be honored.- Complete travel assignments successfully and provide active RN credentials as applicable.- Must not be local; travelers must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility to be considered for this role.- Follow the best practices and standards of care for pediatric respiratory therapy.- Maintain and renew required certifications before expiration during the assignment.
