CNC Machinist (3rd Shift)
at our Santa Maria, CA location. Tyvak is a leading worldwide provider of nanosatellite and microsatellite vehicles, services, and solutions to Commercial and Government customers. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for producing varied, complex, and accurate tooling to supplied prints to satisfy internal and external customers and for ensuring the production of complex high quality metallic and non-metallic parts.
This shift will run from
11 PM to 7:30 AM.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines to create, modify and repair products through material shapingDetermine the path the machine takes (including cut speed and feed rate)Program instructions to CNC operating machines according to the specificationsUse measurement tools to verify dimensions for complianceInterpret and follow work ordersWork and perform responsibilities in compliance with safety guidelines and wearing all PPE as needed for equipment interactionPerform all other duties as assignedRequirements
4+ years of relevant professional experienceHigh school diploma or GEDProven experience as CNC operatorSkill in operating HAAS CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement toolsAbility to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawingsComputer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAMMechanical aptitude and good math skillsA keen eye for detail and results-driven approachGood communication abilitiesBenefits

Salary Range
$22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. In addition to base salary, 100% covered medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) match, unlimited flex time off, covered life insurance, maternity and paternity leave, tuition reimbursement, employee referrals, and lots of swag!
