Details: The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of solar products through the testing and analysis of PV cells and modules. This role is key in upholding the company's commitment to producing high-performance, durable solar solutions.Job RequirementsDetails: Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesConduct quality control tests and inspections on incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished PV cells and modules to ensure they meet established specifications and standards.Operate and maintain testing equipment, including spectrometers, current-voltage (IV) curve testers, thermal imaging cameras, and electroluminescence (EL) testers.Identify and document product defects, deviations, and non-conformities, and collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to implement corrective actions.Assist in the development and improvement of testing procedures and protocols to enhance product quality and efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain accurate and organized records of testing data and results.QualificationsSkills:Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise testing protocols.Proficiency in using testing equipment and a solid understanding of quality control principles.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or anomalies.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Excellent communication skills to report findings and interact effectively with team members.Ability to read blueprints and GD&T drawings.Traits:Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Self-motivated with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.Adaptable, able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Dedication to safety and adherence to safety guidelines.Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Associate degree or technical certification in a relevant field (e.g., electronics, engineering technology, renewable energy) preferred.Prior experience in a quality assurance or testing role within the solar or manufacturing industry is a plus.Compensation: $22-27/Hour#MCTA1
