Patient Transportation Driver

Midland Care is now hiring for a Patient Transportation Driver to join our team at our KCK PACE Center.
Our Transportation Specialists transport participants for our
PACE
program to and from appointments, the Day Center and their homes. You will assist participants in and out of the vehicle and the building sites they are reporting to. Primary transportation driven is a bus, though it may also include a van or car on occasion.

is a not-for-profit health care program that helps people at risk for needing nursing home care who meet a level of care requirement stay in their own homes and communities.
Employment Status:
Full-time | Monday - Friday | 8am - 5pm
Pay Rate:
$17/hour (salary is based on experience/requirements)

Must possess a valid Kansas or Missouri Driver's License (within 30 days of hire for out of state licenses), current automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization's insurability standard as defined by Midland policy. These must be current at hire and remain in effect throughout employment. Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical and drug screen. Must continue to pass these throughout employment. Must have a current DOT physical at all times. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position. Due to insurance company requirements, must be 25 years of age or older.
Preferred:
Prior driving experience.One year of experience working with a frail (elderly or disabled) population.
