The Associate Director, HCP Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing programs for the professional/HCP customer segment while creating communication goals and customer experiences aligned to relevant business objectives for the product.

Essential Functions

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

Lead and execute key omnichannel projects within the HCP Neuro omnichannel plan.

Help with media planning (Media agency engagement and channel strategy/analytics and deployment).

Field and Promotional Engagement - supporting planning and execution/development of HCP behavioral segmentation and deployment, promotional content development and execution across different segments, monitoring performance/progress, facilitating the analysis of market data to identify key segment drivers, growth opportunities, and business threats.

Achieve on or above budget performance of the therapeutic area by establishing the budget and monitoring performance against it in brand indications.

Ensure alignment of all efforts with the broader strategic direction of Eisai Inc (and global where appropriate). Clarify marketing strategy and ensure others' buy-in and understanding. Generate and interpret customer feedback about how the marketing group can better serve customer needs and still yield mutual success.

Direct, plan and formulate market development and product promotion plans, medical education plans, sales forecasts, budgets. Direct preparation, planning and implementation of conventions. Develop and enhance patient support/engagement programs and develop performance metrics. Oversee implementation of long and short-term strategies for associated brands and customer segments.

Foster relationships with top institutions, KOLs and other stakeholders to develop brand and customer strategies.

Direct and monitor the development of advertising and promotional activities of outside agencies and service providers.

Ensure effective roll out of marketing campaigns to the field team through plan of action (POA) meetings and build effective marketing/sales communication and partnerships.

Requirements

BS or BA is required; MBA preferred.

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare field at least 5 years brand marketing or experience in managed markets, including omnichannel marketing.

Demonstrated leadership skills.

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Financial/budgetary and project management experience.

Travel is estimated at 20% of time, including some weekend travel.

Work experience in primary care and consumer-relevant Rx markets preferred.

Pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
