Database Administrator
We are looking for a Database Administrator with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. The candidate will be a part of the DBA Team and will be responsible for managing and maintaining our databases, ensuring their integrity, performance, and security. This role will require close collaboration with end-users and providing support to development teams to optimize database performance and improve data reliability.

Responsibilities: Manage and administer SQL Server and MySQL databases (on prem and Azure), including installation, configuration, and maintenance. Write and optimize TSQL queries and stored procedures to retrieve and manipulate data. Utilize version control tools such as Git for managing database scripts and configurations. Using Jira and Confluence for task tracking and documentation. Scripting and automation in PowerShell or Bash. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and development teams. Implementing database backup procedures, data recovery strategies, and ensure data integrity and security. Manage database access and permissions Maintain and improve Power BI reporting Monitor database performance and identify areas for optimization, including indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement relational databases and optimize database schema. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database administration and performance monitoring. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar role. Strong proficiency in SQL Server and MySQL, including writing SQL queries and stored procedures. Experience with version control tools such as Git. Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and Confluence. Scripting and automation experience, with proficiency in PowerShell or Bash. Understanding of database backup procedures, data recovery strategies, and database performance monitoring concepts. Knowledge of relational databases design principles, indexes, and query optimization techniques. Experience with PowerBI considered a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Desired Traits:
