Job Summary:
The
Social Media Intern
will work alongside our Marketing teams at the Hall of Fame Village, a subsidiary of the publicly traded Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: HOFV, HOFVW) on social media and digital marketing activity and more.?This position offers growth opportunities in social media posting, copywriting, video and design for social media, calendar management, digital paid ads and more.
The ideal candidate will have great interpersonal skills, a willingness to jump into any task, and class curriculum and hands-on experience in social media. Video production for social and editing a plus!
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
•Create and post content (copy and imagery) across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok, including posts, stories, reels, and more.
•Produce and edit short video content for social media posting.
•Write engaging posts and carefully proofread to eliminate typos and ensure accuracy through fact-checking.
•Analyze post performance data insights and provide actionable suggestions for improvement.
•Develop innovative ideas for the social media calendar and overall strategy.
•Regularly report to and meet with the Director of Social Media and Digital Analytics to update on completed posts and upcoming deliverables.
•Maintain and update social media calendars to ensure timely content posting.
•Create posts for multiple brands, primarily Hall of Fame Village and Gridiron Gastropub restaurant
•Monitor responses and messages, responding to select inquiries with pre-determined canned responses.
•Work outside of normal M-F (9-5) workday; must be available to work events on weekends and evenings.
•All other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Desired Qualifications:
•Hands-on social media experience with a deep understanding of platform nuances
•Proven ability to create and post engaging content (both copy and imagery) across multiple platforms, including:
•Facebook
•Instagram
•LinkedIn
•Twitter
•-TikTok video content creation is a plus
•Experience in developing a variety of content types, including posts, stories, reels, and more
•Relevant coursework in social media, marketing, and/or a related field
•Strong attention to detail, particularly in proofreading and editing
•Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences
•Must be a flexible and reliable team player.
•Experience working in events, operations, or hospitality desired.
•Positive and friendly attitude and persona, as this position works closely with the public.
•Strong team skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment; must possess a strong ability for effective management and task prioritization.
•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.??
