Job Title: Surgical Services Technician Job Specialty: Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Information not provided Experience: Minimum 5 years License: Current applicable license Certifications: CBSPD or HSPA required prior to submission Must-Have: - Level 1 Trauma experience- Skills in Sterilization, Decontamination, Assembly/Wrap Job Description: - Work in a Level 1 trauma center specializing in total joints, neuro spine, neuro crani's, open heart, lung and heart transplants, DaVinci, plastics, and ENT.- Perform tasks related to general surgical services, OB/GYN, plastic, ENT, cardiovascular/thoracic, laparoscopic, urology, robotic, ortho, ortho/totals, neuro/spine, neuro/crani, and transplant procedures.- Manage daily average surgical case volume of 65 cases and daily tray volume of 393.- Required to work 3x12 shifts Friday through Sunday.- Flu vaccine mandatory with medical or religious exemptions accepted.- Must provide two supervisor references.- Required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.- Completion of pre-start modules is necessary, averaging 6-12 hours.- Non-billable orientation consists of 12 hours.
