About the Role The Strategist leverages industry knowledge to provide key insights and strategic recommendations for positioning a client's business/products. They will collaborate with the client and internal stakeholders to develop positioning and messaging strategies and are responsible for providing input throughout the creative development process to ensure all client deliverables are "on strategy". The Strategist helps define key performance indicators and measurement for programs Ogilvy delivers to ensure that strategies and tactics deliver against client goals and objectives and provide expected returns.
What You'll Do
Lead the strategy &brand vision internally and externally
Develop clear and inspiring creative briefs and an extensive point of view for new business and currentclients
Work in brief development, new business pitches and department initiatives
Partner with Creatives to concept, explore and push the work
Design and conductqualitative and quantitative research via focus groups, brainstorming sessions and one-on-oneinterviews
Can design for effectiveness and implement measurementstrategies
Collaborate across disciplines and hierarchies
What You'll Need
4+ years' strategy experience in a creative advertising agency preferred
Ability to manage scenarios where on the spot, critical thinking is necessary
Exceptionalwritten and verbal communication skills
Proactive mindset;cares about the details and follows through
Well informed on cultural and social trends relevant to clients
Is current onindustry, customer and competitor information and integratesthoseinsights into strategic recommendations
