In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Understand and actively assess the market: segmentation, dynamics, trends, regional regulatory landscape pertaining to product validation, data privacy, data handling, and data residencyAlign with assay product management and software teams to develop software strategy and roadmapDrive roadmap execution technically and commercially in partnership with the assay product management team, software team, regulatory affairs team, marketing team, and regional salesDevelop go to market plans in collaboration with assay product managers and global marketing built to achieve revenue goals, ensure successful customer adoption and accelerate ramp to volume. Provide technical marketing support to sales/support teams, training and tool development.Drive successful relationships with sales and key customers to ensure an understanding of emerging trends and key drivers for successful adoption of new products, including beta and early access programs. Own the customer-driven process to define user workflows in different use settings and communicate this workflow to sub-teams for implementationThe essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics or related life science field (biology, biochemistry, chemistry, etc.)3+ years of experience in NGS bioinformatics development, especially with regulated product software developmentDemonstrated ability to define new product features and enhancements based on user needs; own the transformation of RUO product definition and customer needs into software requirements (using Agile methodology), and lead teams in building solutions that meet these requirementsDemonstrated understanding of how to prioritize, organize, and manage the product backlog, build epics, define stories and enhancements in Agile format using Jira boards/ticketsNeed to have experience in prior compliant software (21 CFR part 11) - FDA code of federal regulations of compliant software regulations.Web security and GXP security standardsIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Advanced degree (master's or PhD) in bioinformatics or related fieldPrevious experience in product management or other customer-facing rolesPrevious experience with assay design and bioinformatics software for next-generation sequencing/genomics data analysisExperience as a software product manager, product owner, or similar position executing on software development life cycle and scrum methodologiesFamiliarity with regulatory submission processProficient in design control

The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $155,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
