Capgemini/Sogeti is looking to build out a team of three resources to fulfill a project with our client in the healthcare space to take on the roles of Lead Azure Security Architect with previous development experience, Senior Azure Security Developer and Azure Security Developer (Architect JD also posted so apply there if interested in Lead roles versus hands on roles). Position : Security Azure Developer Consultant - 1 Senior and 1 mid-level available Overview : As a Security Developer Consultant, you will play a key role in analyzing and remediating security risks identified by cloud security platforms such as Wiz.io and other security tools. Your responsibility will include evaluating the vulnerabilities and misconfigurations in applications and infrastructure, providing development-driven solutions, and ensuring that applications adhere to security best practices. You will collaborate closely with development teams to implement configuration changes and optimize security measures within the application stack. This role also requires hands on development experience ideally in .NET framework. Key Responsibilities : Analyze Security Issues : Review and analyze security vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and risks identified by Wiz.io and other security scanning tools. Remediation & Resolution : Develop and implement code or configuration changes that address the identified security issues in the application and underlying infrastructure. Collaborate with Infrastructure and Development Teams : Work with infrastructure services, software developers and architects to build secure platforms, ensure secure coding practices are followed and assist in implementing necessary security changes within the applications. Security Best Practices : Knowledge sharing among teams on adhering to security policies, standards, and industry best practices (e.g., NIST, OWASP, CIS benchmarks) when configuring or developing applications. Continuous Monitoring : Help integrate and maintain security monitoring tools to ensure continued security and compliance of cloud applications, platform, and infrastructure with increased automation for generation of actionable detections and effective reporting. Security Audits : Perform periodic audits of application code, infrastructure, and configurations to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed in a timely manner. Documentation : Provide detailed documentation on identified issues, mitigation strategies, and steps taken to resolve security risks, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed. Qualifications : Application Development : Strong .NET development experience building REST APIs, function apps, and web apps in Azure with knowledge of secure coding practices including TLS standards Cloud Security : In-depth understanding of cloud infrastructure security (Azure, AWS, GCP), firewall & Application Gateway configuration, identity access management, container and network security, etc. Experience with Security Tools : Experience with security scanning tools such as Wiz.io and Noname. Vulnerability Management : Proven track record of identifying and remediating security risks in both application code and infrastructure configuration. Security Certifications (Preferred) : CEH, CISSP, OSCP, or relevant cloud certifications (Azure Security Engineer, AWS Certified Security, Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer, etc.). Skills : Expertise in reviewing and implementing application-level security fixes. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to mitigating security risks. Ability to communicate complex security issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating security checks into development workflows. Experience with AST/DAST/SCE, including the security tool products such as Wiz.io, Veracode, etc. Education : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience). The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $90,000 - $150,000. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission.
