We are seeking a Veterans Care Specialist to work as an advanced care team member and provide leadership and mentorship to Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)-Human Services Technician (HST) employees.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide leadership, training, oversight and mentoring to current and new CNA-HST employees so that their competencies and resident services are enhanced.Independently administer medications and/or treatments as prescribed to residents as requested.Participate and provide input in team meetings and in the development and implementation of care plans for residents.Measure targeted goals for residents, households, groups, and individualized projects as assigned. Analyze data to assess resident interventions.Assist in the development and implementation of an educational curriculum for staff.
This position is designed as part-time and primarily day shift.
The work schedule will include at least 64 hours per 2-week pay period
and may include additional work hours, based on business needs. The position is initially eligible for a full employer contribution towards health and dental insurance benefits.
