Shipping / Receiving Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to manage our inbound and outbound shipments
The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving operations and be certified or willing to learn to operate forklifts and man lifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Shipping and Receiving:
o Receive and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality.
o Prepare items for shipping, including boxing items, creating shipping labels, and maintaining detailed records of outgoing shipments.
o Manage inventory by organizing stock in the warehouse and maintaining accurate records.
o Process returned goods, documenting damages and discrepancies, and returning merchandise to stock.
o Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient transport of goods.
• General Duties:
o Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
o Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
o Report any damages, shortages, or quality deficiencies.
o Perform regular cycle counts of inventory.
Requirements:
• Excellent physical condition and coordination.
• Attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
