Job Details:

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Permanent Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role will be crucial in ensuring the quality of our products and services, by developing, implementing, and maintaining our Quality Management System (QMS). The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality engineering, lean six sigma methodologies, and auditing. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned quality engineer who is passionate about driving continuous improvement and ensuring superior product quality.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
  2. Lead and participate in Lean Six Sigma projects to drive process improvements.
  3. Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify and resolve quality issues.
  4. Develop and implement Corrective Action plans to address identified quality issues.
  5. Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop quality control metrics and ensure they are achieved.
  7. Train and mentor team members on quality control processes and methodologies.
  8. Prepare and present quality reports to management.
  9. Participate in 8D problem-solving teams.
  10. Continuously monitor and improve the effectiveness of the QMS.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role within the manufacturing industry.
  3. Certified in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  4. Demonstrated experience with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
  5. Proficient in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action planning.
  6. Experience in conducting internal and external audits.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to participate in 8D problem-solving teams.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Ability to train and mentor team members on quality control processes and methodologies.
  10. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and Quality Management software.
