Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Operating Room (OR) / Perioperative Nurse to provide comprehensive surgical patient care.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
In this role, the nurse serves as both a patient educator and key member of the surgical team, functioning as either a Circulating Nurse or Scrub Nurse.
Circulating Nurse: Works within the operating room but outside the sterile field, ensuring smooth workflow and supporting the surgical team.
Scrub Nurse: Assists in the sterile field, preparing and handling surgical instruments and equipment.

Experience:
Minimum of 24 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
License/Certification:
Certification: Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

- Provide patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Serve as both a Circulating Nurse and Scrub Nurse as needed, depending on the procedure and team requirements.
- Educate patients and families about the surgical process, expectations, and recovery plans.
- Maintain sterile conditions and follow all infection control protocols.
- Monitor patients' status and document all procedures accurately in medical records.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 24 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
License/Certification:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (BSN or ADN).
Certification: Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
