Operating Room Registered Nurse (Competitive Pay!)

Competitive paying Registered Nurse Opening in St. Louis, MO! Must have OR experience!

Role Overview: The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities related to orthopedic surgical procedures. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient and circulating the case.

• Determines data collection based on the patient's condition or needs as related to the proposed interventions
• Addresses the physiological, psychological, socio-cultural and spiritual needs/responses of the patient.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks and flexibility as job priorities change.
• Demonstrates a positive can do attitude
• Work is accurate and complete
• Demonstrates knowledge and follows AORN standards
• Functions as a team member
• Completes initial and annual competencies as required.
• Maintains licenses and certifications.
• Adheres to dress code, attendance punctuality, meal break and rest periods
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Attends required department and hospital meetings.
• Assumes responsibility for continuing education requirements

Clinic Overview: Fast-paced Ambulatory Surgery Center, with a focus in Orthopedics (sports medicine, total joints, orthopedic spine, etc.) and Podiatry! We are a caring, compassionate team who provides excellence in patient care across all of our facilities

Location: St. Louis, MO 63128

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Pay: $35.00-45.00/hr+ (DOE)

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• 1+ year previous Operating Room experience
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse
• Current in CPR, ACLS and PALS
