As a DevSecOps engineer, you're eager to develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your client's needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to develop container management software to solve some of our clients' toughest challenges.
As a Cloud DevOps Engineer at Booz Allen, you'll be a part of a team creating, architecting and deploying a platform that will enable developers, data scientists, universities and research institutions to collaborate and create innovative and next generation data modeling solutions for the client. On our team, you'll use your Kubernetes and microservices based architecture experience to support developers, data scientists, and platform architects. You not only know the benefits of containerization and orchestration tools, but you're also able to translate those your customers using the platform. Using your DevOps platform experience, you'll use your knowledge and experience to rapidly deploy, manage, and secure the CDC Kubernetes environments using zero trust security practices that will support multi-tenant environments.

You Have:
4+ years of experience with architecting, deploying and securing applications on Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)3+ years of experience with CI/CD tooling, such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps3+ years of experience using Terraform or CI/CD (IaC) tooling to deploy Azure or AWS services to an enterprise environment3+ years of experience with PowerShell, Python or Bash scripting to automate deployments, infrastructure and processes for managing the environmentExperience with container orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes, Docker, Docker Swarm, and Azure FunctionsExperience with enterprise security principles and enforcing them at scaleKnowledge of cloud networking concepts like virtual networks, subnets, DNS and security groupsKnowledge with enterprise High Availability and Disaster Recovery methodologiesAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirementsHS diploma or GEDNice If You Have:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
