PT needed asapEducation:
Masters Degree from an accredited physical therapy programExperience:
Experience working directly with patients in a long term care or hospital settingLicenses/Certifications/Registrations: Current Physical Therapist state license, Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Possess documentation skills, have excellent verbal communication, provide satisfactory patient services, be a team player, Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide are appropriate to the age of the patients served.A Physical Therapist plans and executes rehabilitation programs to help patients return to a higher level of physical function after an accident or surgery. They will often also help to manage or lessen the pain experienced by someone stricken with a degenerative condition or terminal disease. Physical Therapists help patients through a combination of physical activity, reflexology, massage and muscular and skeletal manipulation. The PT collaborates with speech therapists and physical therapists to achieve the best outcomes for the patient
