A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool.The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience, an active BLS, ACLS, and AZ license or compact.TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE DRIPS!!There will be frequent floating to the sister facility, Mercy Gilbert.Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation.COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD.Job Requirements

Shifts: 12 hr shifts. 7-7.Floating is required.Unit Specific Information
Unit: CV Tele B3A, A3 Neuro, MedSurg C5, MedSurg B2CRatios: Generally 1:3-4Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment.Techs: PCTs - 1 per every 16 patients.Weekend Requirement: Varies depending on the unit.Scrub Color: NavyTele: Centralized tele. RNs must be able to interpret EKGs.Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Varies, some units have hospitalist rounds during the day and on call at night.Pharmacy 24/7: YesCommon diagnosis / Types of patients: Varies by unit such as: post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, general tele, Neuro post surgical, post cranis, spine, CVAs post TPA, General MedSurg patients that require tele.Additional Details
COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD**Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (WITH 2 MAX ATTEMPTS), within 48 hours of offer.**There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions).If traveler fails Sim, they will be sent home and made a DNU***Will float between all Tele and MedSurg units****
