In order to participate in Berklee Student Employment, a student must fulfill the following requirements:Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee.Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program. Summer is the only semester in which a student can maintain employment without being enrolled. In this case, the student must be pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester. This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters.Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN).Remain in "valid" Visa status as applicable.A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Students in their first semester can work, even though they do not have an official GPA until the completion of their first semester.Federal Work Study student may apply.In good disciplinary standing.Must be located in the U.S.For complete program details, please go to our website: www.berklee.edu/se.The Paid Social Media and Community Engagement Coordinator will support the Assistant Director of Digital Marketing and social media team within the office of communications and marketing regarding paid social media campaigns across various platforms for Berklee College of Music, Berklee Summer Programs, and other relevant areas as needed. This role presents an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in executing paid social media campaigns and contributing to Berklee's enrollment marketing efforts. The Paid Social Media and Community Engagement Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the Assistant Director of Digital Marketing to achieve campaign objectives, maintain a healthy social presence with prospective students, and drive quality leads for recruitment and brand awareness.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport in managing ad comment moderation and community engagement across social media channels, ensuring compliance with Berklee's community guidelines and policy.Recommend organic published content on the college's Facebook/Instagram to boost seasonally on a weekly basis to current and in-progress leads and applicants as needed.Assist in the implementation of paid social media campaign strategies, including the execution of campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.Assist in building ads within Meta Business Manager, TikTok Business Manager, and other ad platforms as required with proper attribution tagging for accurate measurement.Required Skills and KnowledgeUses Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive regularly.Familiar with social media advertising and lead generation with a curiosity to learn more.Knowledge and interest in Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat content trends is a plus!Comfortable engaging with designated staff to escalate issues appropriately (e.g. paid social comment moderation) for crisis management.Must have a great attitude and an outstanding attention to detail.Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment as well as independently.Experience with project management tools (Asana), optional but preferred.Adheres to the institution's core values.Required Application Materials: a link to your Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn account, if available.
