Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Database Admin to collaborate closely with key stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring efficient and secure database operations. In this role, you will manage and optimize databases, develop PL/SQL operations, and maintain data integrity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle Spatial, database performance monitoring, and Agile methodologies, ensuring optimal outcomes through continuous improvement and effective troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
•Work as part of a Scrum Team.
•Complete user stories, bugs, and technical debt.
•Review, update, and develop PL/SQL, including LRS and other Oracle Spatial operations.
•Integrate PL/SQL code into Azure DevOps code repository.
•Evaluate user requests for new data elements and features, providing necessary technical assistance.
•Perform data modeling, prototyping, and maintain data dictionaries to ensure uniformity of definitions and standards.
•Monitor database performance and recommend efficiency improvements.
•Help resolve database-related security risks and vulnerabilities.
•Assist with required reporting as established by the client.
Required Qualifications:
•Expertise in Oracle Spatial (dynamic segmentation, LRS, SDO).
•Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL.
•Experience with version control systems (Azure DevOps, GIT).
•Familiarity with SQL Developer or other similar IDEs.
•Experience with Esri ArcSDE integration with Oracle Spatial.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience with Azure DevOps for project management, user stories, bugs, and test cases.
•Familiarity with Eclipse.
•Knowledge of Agile methodology.
Education:
Bachelors Degree
