Job Title: COBOL DeveloperLocation: Berkeley Heights, NJ (Onsite)Duration: Contract to hireJob Description:Experienced COBOL developers. Skillset should include: Proficient in the COBOL programming language and be able to work with a COBOL Z/OS mainframe. They will also need to know other programming languages, such as JCL, SQL, MS SQL Server, PL/SQL, IBM DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, IMS CICS, and TSO. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence and ADO are a plus.Skills, Experience, and Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology orequivalentTen+ years of software development engineering experience.Working knowledge in an IBM Mainframe environment ? proficient withCOBOL, JCL, DB2, and working with IBM Mainframe ZOS toolsets.Strong knowledge of the following: DB2, IDCAMS, SyncSort;File-Master; File Transmission (FTP/NDM); The following would be nice tohave: REXX; Endevor; Clarity; JiraExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience in technical design writing and documentation.Proficient with usage of MS office ?
