New Story In-District Services (IDS) partners with local school districts to enhance special education services by providing BCBAs, Teachers, RBTs, and Paraprofessionals within schools. Our mission is to support and empower teachers, case managers, and paraprofessionals, ensuring optimal outcomes for students with various diagnoses. Through targeted support and professional development, we aim to improve the quality of education and contribute to meaningful improvements across the district.The part time, 10-hour work week, In-District Services BCBA with Rivermont Schools is responsible to lead all efforts during the school year, related to these consultative services based on the individual contract with a particular school district. The BCBA will also provide oversight and direction to one or more Registered Behavior Technicians and/or Behavior Support team members.RESPONSIBILITIES | WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Provide direct/indirect behavioral services to students and/or teachers and classroom support personnel in either individual or group settingsProvide supervision to assigned RBTs, BTs and other classroom leaders and/or support personnel to support identified goalsProvide oversight for one or multiple student's ABA programs in the classroom including oversight for paraprofessionals who are working with the student(s) directly.Individually assess students to identify learning and program needsDevelop initial programming and ongoing modification to programs as neededProvide direct intervention, instruction and supervision to classroom support personnelMonitor program and progress and provide daily progress reporting and data analysisProvide daily progress notes for school and familiesCreate functional behavior assessments and related behavior intervention plans and create social skills and/or skill based assessments as neededProvide consultation to teachers and other behavior support or classroom support personnelAssist with development of behavior strategies, IEP goals focusing on behavior reduction and replacement behaviors and data collection tools and methodologyProvide instruction for Response to Intervention (RTI)Provide Behavioral Skills Training (BST) for classroom staff on identified interventionsQUALIFICATIONS | WHAT YOU BRING

Master's degree in psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or other related fields of study.Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)2 Years' experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with various special needs.New Story provides education, therapeutic and clinical support to children with autism disorder and severe emotional disabilities.
