Job Summary
The SAP ABAP Consultant will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of ABAP applications.
The role involves working closely with business analysts and technical leads to deliver solutions that meet business needs and participating in SAP S4 project implementations.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, code, test, implement, and maintain ABAP applications.Collaborate with business analysts and technical leads to ensure technical solutions align with business requirements.Translate business needs into technical solutions through solution mapping.Plan and execute unit tests to validate application functionality.Create and maintain technical specification documents.Design applications consistent with SAP Fiori architecture for a modern user interface.Analyze customer business operations to validate requirements and project scope.Participate in SAP S4 project implementation.Required Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP ABAP design and development.Expertise in user exits, WebDynpro, ALE, IDOC, OO/ALV, BAPI, and SAP Fiori.Experience with technical solution mapping and integration across SAP modules.Familiarity with end-to-end solution design and deployment.Ability to write functional specifications for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflow).Experience collaborating with third-party vendors for technical consulting and support.Strong knowledge of technology risks and opportunities for process improvements.Excellent communication skills for providing status updates and creating documentation.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP S4 project implementation.
