for our premier client in
Austin, Texas .
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:Technical Requirements and Certifications "
Certification in Power BI or related tools.
Education and Experience "
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong focus on business intelligence and data analytics.Proven experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.Experience with relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake).
Preferred Qualifications:
Background or knowledge of the property management and/or real estate industry.Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities "
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in SQL and other data analysis tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:Job Responsibilities:Data Analysis & Reporting:
Design and develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models that are visually appealing, accurate, and user-friendly.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional Power BI dashboards and reports.Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-making.
Business Requirements Gathering:
Engage with business units to gather, document, and prioritize requirements for new and existing reports and dashboards.Conduct gap analysis to identify areas of improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
Technical Expertise:
Serve as a Power BI subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to business users.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Power BI and other data visualization tools.Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within Power BI reports and dashboards.
Process Improvement:
Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements through automation and better data utilization.Work closely with data engineering team to ensure the seamless integration of systems and databases.
Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the effectiveness of Power BI solutions.
