The
Senior Cloud Architect
will play a pivotal role in driving MAXISIQ's digital transformation and accelerating its growth within the industry. This position is instrumental in delivering high-quality, enterprise-level solutions that harness the latest technology advancements, fostering sustainable development and facilitating business expansion. What You'll Be Doing:
As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will lead multidisciplinary teams in crafting comprehensive enterprise cloud strategies. Your responsibilities span the entire cloud adoption lifecycle, from initial assessments and design to proof-of-concepts, documentation, planning, execution, and ongoing optimization. By leveraging your expertise, you will guide MAXISIQ in maximizing the benefits of cloud technology, positioning the company for long-term success in a rapidly evolving landscape.Designing, developing, implementing, and testing technical solutions based on business requirementsIdentifying potential issues and implementing solutions proactivelyServing as the technical subject-matter expert and a resource for technical escalationIdentifying enhancement opportunities and assisting in developing them across the enterprise through innovation and automationEnabling faster and smarter business processesEngaging with senior managers regularly, reporting on project status, activities, and achievementsOther duties as requiredQualifications
Education:
BS degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.Fifteen years of combined computer/network architecture experience and five years within the past eight years of experience in Cloud Architecture is acceptable in lieu of degree.Certifications:
IAT Level IIIClearance:
U.S. CitizenMinimum of a Secret ClearanceWillingness to be read on to NATOExperience:
10 years technical and/or management experience on US Army or DoD programs and projects that provided expert software O&M of Army enterprise systems.5 years technical and/or management experience supported industry and/or Government sector cloud initiatives at an enterprise level.1 year within the past 3 years of experience defining organizational project cloud migration objectives and requirements that map to enterprise cloud vision and/or initiatives, establishing system architecture, ensuring IA compliance, directing, coordinating, and completing project efforts, interfacing with Government personnel, and providing progress reports.3 years within the past 5 years of experience with commercial CSPs (AWS or Microsoft Azure) in cloud- based disaster recovery (DR) and multi- region / multi-availability zone (AZ) high availability (HA) (AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, and/or if needed for the new CSPs).
