Job Description
Rate of pay: $35.00 per hour
We are currently considering candidates for a hospitality focused RN. Candidates must have nursing experience and a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding and superior hospitality. We currently have the following shifts available: Full-time, 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am, every other weekend.
The RN at The Glenview at Pelican Bay is responsible for providing direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
The RN is responsible for the following services including but not limited to:Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.Make written and oral reports/ recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required.Complete and file required recordkeeping forms/charts upon the resident's admission, transfer, and/or discharge.Receive telephone orders from physicians and record on the Physicians' Order Form.Transcribe physician's orders to resident charts, cardex, medication cards, treatment/care plans, as required.chart nurses' notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident, as well as the resident's response to the care.Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.Ensure that narcotic records are accurate for your shift.Review care plans daily to ensure that appropriate care is being rendered.Receive/give the nursing report upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information. Report known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such information.Skills/Qualifications:
Florida State Licensed Registered Nurse License and CPR Certification. Must pass an extensive criminal check and drug screen.
