Unit Capacity: 36 BedsPopulation Served: Cardiac and Neuro Stepdown: Cardiac bedside monitoring, Cardiac drips, TR bands, Post heart caths, Stroke/Neuro patients, BIPAP overflows
Ages of Patients Served: Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60+)
Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:6
An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team.
Staffing Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS)Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Certification National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
