Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $1,971 per week

Certification Details ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Must have skills validated in hospital's SIMs lab. Job Details Adult ICU Pods nurse position available. Level I Trauma experience required. Nurses will complete SIMs Lab for certain procedures. Training on lifts, restraints, and wound care provided. Candidates must be competent in maintaining sterile field. Job Requirements 2 years ICU experience required. Experience in 600 bed teaching facility required. ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Must pass DYS exam prior to acceptance. Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips is necessary. Schedule Information 12 hour shifts (7-7). 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks required. Holiday rotation with core staff. Floating required amongst all ICU and MedSurg/Tele units. Unit Specific Information MICU, SICU, TICU nurse-patient ratios are 1:1-2. Intensivist in-house 24/7. Responsible for ventilator management (Cervo I, jets, oscillators). Must be able to perform bedside procedures (e.g., bronchoscopy, tracheostomy, hemodialysis catheter placement). Additional Details Unit specific orientations provided. ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Medical Solutions Pre-Screens followed by an AUTO OFFER if clinical requirements are met.
