Aircraft Technician II

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Onsite - Kohler, WI Sheboygan County Airport 

Opportunity

To perform inspection and maintenance on aircraft and associated equipment and facilities for aircraft operated by Kohler Co.’s Corporate Aircraft Department, within the guidelines of the department and administrative employee’s policy manuals with limited supervision.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Perform the inspection, repair, design, fabrication, construction and maintenance of the aircraft, facilities, tooling and equipment in areas where they are technically qualified.
  • Revise and monitor required Aircraft Technical Publications.
  • When necessary, prepare equipment required to be shipped for repair.
  • Double inspecting work done by others before final acceptance and release for flight.
  • Oversee or complete jobs being accomplished away from home base with direction from a Senior Aircraft Technician.
  • Attend training school and seminars that relate to the maintenance and operation of the aircraft and department as directed by the Aviation Maintenance Manager.
  • Perform any other duties related to this position and assigned by the Senior Aircraft Technician.

Skills/Requirements

  • Must possess an FAA Issued A&P license with 3-5 years similar experience on the aircraft type Kohler Co. operates.
  • You must attend a school related to the maintenance of specific aircraft and equipment as deemed necessary by the Aviation Maintenance Manager.
