Certification Details Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS Job Details Hospital: Skyline Medical Center Location: Nashville, TN Address: 3441 Dickerson Road Unit Name: NVICU Building: Main Cost Center: 677 Job Requirements Must have: Active RN license, ACLS, BLS, ICU experience Advanced skills needed for procedures performed on unit: Insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, EVD insertions Schedule Information Minimum weekend requirement is 4 weekend shifts per schedule Schedule is done in 4 week increments Self-scheduling to an extent Manager will move shifts to balance out schedule Unit Specific Information Number of Beds: 16 Patient Ratios: 2:1, sometimes 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity/staffing Unit staffing description: unit secretaries staffed during dayshift, occasional nurse extern working as a tech Type of equipment: Ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, EV 1000 Documentation system: Meditech Floating policy: Contract labor is first to float to med/surg as needed Patient Experience requirements: Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients/family members Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines Additional Details Dress Code: Navy scrubs, tops and bottoms Awards/Recognition: Please include anything that you would like prospective candidates to be aware of, such as, links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards.
