EB IT supports over 20,000 end-users in a wide variety of work environments, networks and locations. Electric Boat Information Technology is pursuing an Infrastructure Support Engineer/Analyst to support a multi-year strategy to modernize the company's IT infrastructure within a robust cybersecurity environment. Candidates can expect to perform project oversight activities as well as system administration work. Candidates will have opportunities to work with Windows and RedHat Linux Servers as well as various cloud IaaS opportunities. Candidates will need to be familiar with Microsoft products, various COTS licensing platforms, Active Directory and Cybersecurity controls. A successful candidate will work with a joint team of EB IT, Cybersecurity, and Customer Support Center personnel to implement, monitor, and improve Electric Boat's IT systems. Position Summary: An EB IT Infrastructure Support Analyst will apply IT knowledge and expertise in a demanding fast-paced construction environment, including but not limited to the following areas:Support security audits and vulnerability assessmentsParticipate in Pentest eventsKey server vulnerability mitigation SME for multiple systemsMonitoring system performance and making recommendations for improvementsResponding to user and management inquiries and resolving technical issues associated with special purpose systemsAbility to translate NIST 800-171 and RMF security to actionable itemsInstalling and configuring new software and hardwareSupport a wide variety of IT infrastructure projectsSupport various EB cybersecurity and EB Legal department ESI discovery effortsSupport EBs migration to the Cloud
