Spot Welder

**Job Title: Spot Welder****Job Description**It is the responsibility of the Spot Welding Operator to continuously spot weld components in accordance with work order instructions and customer drawing specifications. Work involves a diversification of production which may involve holding jigs to meet the required dimensional specifications.**Hard Skills**+ Setup of spot welds to the appropriate heat, tip, and AC forge delay+ Ensure setup is acceptable based on visual and strength test+ Pick necessary tooling for application+ Perform spot weld operations as required in accordance with the drawing specifications+ Change and dress electrodes+ Sanding of spot welds+ Utilize rigs equipment for positioning work+ Perform self-inspections during the process+ Ensure proper handling of parts and materials to avoid personal injury or product damage+ Carry out maintenance of equipment**Job Type**This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 800 Hour(s).**Work Site**This is a fully on-site position in Binghamton, New York.**About Aerotek:**We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
