Swiss Machine Operator

Spherion Staffing is looking to hire a Machine Operator for a leading company in Franklin, IN. The Machine Operator keep each of their multiple machines running and ensuring components arewithin their specifications of quality and print. Ideal candidates will have previous machine operator experience (preferably Swiss Machines). This position requires an updated resume with machine operator experience.Responsibilities:RESPONSIBILTIES- Oversee the production of machining parts per customer's specification and quality standards- Operate multiple Mazak/Swiss machines- Communicate with supervisor and peers on jobs- Fill way oil- Complete and submit stock sheet for job running- Mop floors and clean area- Clean out machines- Maintain the machines, oil, coolant, chip barrels- Program, offset, and change tools- Other duties as assignedWorking hours: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AMSkills:-Quality control-Machine maintenance-Mechanic experienceEducation:High SchoolExperience:0-1 yearsQualifications:- Good math aptitude- Able to read and understand blueprints- Comprehend reading and using gages- Multitask, manage multiple machines- Critical thinking- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within an organization-Ability to stand for duration of shift-Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs-Experience working in a production environment-Experience with Machine Operation (specifically Swiss Machines)If you are interested, please apply today and send your most updated resume to IndySouth-DL@spherion.com.
