Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) and Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSWs) to join our team in Queens, NY. In this role, you will provide comprehensive social services to individuals and families, helping them navigate and cope with emotional, mental, and social challenges. You will work collaboratively with healthcare providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure the well-being of clients, while offering both therapeutic interventions and practical resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to address mental health issues, substance abuse, trauma, and other psychosocial needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, educators, and community agencies, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Offer crisis intervention and develop strategies to help clients manage stressful life events.
  • Assist clients in accessing social services, housing, financial support, and other community resources.
  • Maintain accurate and timely case documentation and adhere to all relevant legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  • LCSW Requirements: Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program, current NY State licensure as an LCSW, and a minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in clinical social work.
  • LMSW Requirements: Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program, current NY State licensure as an LMSW, and a strong interest in clinical social work, mental health, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and substance abuse treatment.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adults, families, and underserved communities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with other professionals.
  • Ability to manage a caseload, maintain detailed records, and handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
