Current Opening:

We are currently seeking a Full time (32 hours) Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Manager of Physician's Assistant for our new facility in Ludlow, MA. Hours are 7-7:30am to 1:30-2pm with some flexibility.

Position Summary:The Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Manager will be responsible for the provision of medical services to patients as well as supervision and operation of the nursing department under the guidance of the Medical Director and the Program Director. The NP/NM monitor's the dispensing of all medication, overall patient care and serves as an advocate for both patient needs and the needs of the medical department.

Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF Standards, and Everest Recovery policy and procedureSupport day to day Nursing staff in dispensary, provide knowledge transfer as appropriate Provide patient and staff educationPrescribe medication and ensure appropriate dose (as allowed by Law)Admit patients and ensure safe induction to a therapeutic blocking dose.Medical exams, monitoring, referrals, and reviewsEnsure complete and accurate documentation in patient recordAttendance at administrative team meetingsResponsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining nursing personnelOperation/Supervision and scheduling of Nursing DepartmentMonitor/supervision of medication dispensationMaintain inventory logs and required documentation for State and Federal agencies.Monitor patient careUnderstanding and application of state and federal regulations, policy and procedures, and CARF StandardsAdvocate for patient/staff needsServe as public relations representative to other medical facilities and personnelAdherence to patient confidentiality as required by Federal and State Law and Regulations.

MSNLicensed as a Nurse Practitioner in MAMinimum of one year experience with psychiatric/mental health/substance use treatment services.Understanding of addiction treatmentAbility to work without direct supervision.Good Communication skillsAbility to be adaptable/flexible in a busy environmentGood decision-making skills

Compensation details:

72-75 Hourly Wage
