This position has the capability to work hybrid/semi-remote, but the right candidate would be willing to travel to our office 1-3 times per week for on-site needs (drivable distance).Shift: Monday-FridayHours: 7:30am-4:00pmWhat is a Versa-Tags Human Resources (HR) Director?As an HR Director, you'll be in charge of Versa-Tags' most valuable resource - its people! Versa-Tags' HR is a "Department of One", and our HR Director will be the primary source of knowledge of our teams, company policies, and strategic growth. The ideal candidate for this position is professional, uses discretion and judgement with sensitive information, never settles for "good enough," and is highly motivated to make Versa-Tags and its employees Better Every Day.

What does your day look like?Work alongside and manage 3rd party HR assistance as applicableOversee, implement, and maintain all HR initiatives, systems and tactics; actively seeks new solutions that will improve the overall employee experience, HR efficiencies, and compliance requirements.Design and implement the overall recruiting strategy. Identify, evaluate, and solve hiring challenges; Interviewing potential candidates and making recommendationsCreate new and engaging employee content, including training and benefits videos/materials, recruiting materials, and employee training contentMonitor adherence to internal policies and legal standardsPerform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectivesEffectively manage grievances and violations, invoking disciplinary action when requiredReport to Vice President by analyzing data and using HR metrics to make educated recommendations for future projects, initiatives, policy/compliance changesAnticipate and resolve litigation risksMonitor employee new hire training for efficacy and develop strategic goals to track and improve employee ongoing training needs, working with Supervisors and Leadership to develop effective, engaging, and trackable training goals/milestones.Advocate for the Company, exhibiting the Qualities of the Company's Way of Life.Assist with other HR functions, including payroll processing, records retention, benefits administration, etc. as neededUse the utmost discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive documents or employee matters.

What skills can you bring to the table?Minimum 1 year working in Human Resources in a strategic capacity; 3+ years working within the Human Resources field; or a combination of experience/educationExcellent knowledge of HCM/Applicant Tracking software; Knowledge of HCM system module build and maintenanceAmazing attention to detail, unwavering quality standards, and eye for catching errorsDesire to consistently improve, update, and refine existing processes and technologyKnowledge of organizational compliance requirementsStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and tactOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbalAbility to handle tasks with minimal supervision
