A comprehensive multi-services organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join one of their growing facilities in Staten Island.
About the Opportunity:Setting: Article 16 Clinic
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm
Patient Population: Adults (Ages 18+)
EMR: PrecisionCare
Responsibilities:The Occupational Therapist (OT) will:
Planand implementprescribed OT treatment programs for persons receiving services to maintain and/or restore function secondary to acute or chronic disability Conductannual screens Make assessments Performdaily documentation Handle other duties, as needed
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy school NYS Occupational Therapist (OT)license Knowledge in the use of mobility devices and therapeutic exercises Microsoft Office proficient Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized
Desired Skills:
Experience with wheelchair assessment Experience working with people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
