The role involves providing anesthesia services at both the University and Memorial campuses, with the following schedule and responsibilities:Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7 AM - 5 PMWednesday: 8 AM - 6 PM
Call Requirements:
Monthly call required, including potential weekend and OB callsCases:
Bread and butter cases only; no cardiology, pediatrics, trauma cases, or pain managementRegional Blocks:
Not requiredAverage Cases per Day:
3-9OB Training:
Helpful but not required; high-risk OB experience is a plusFellowship for OB:
Required for OB cases but not otherwiseCommitment:
Minimum 3-month commitment with the option to extend
Role Responsibilities:Working both solo and supervising/directing CRNAsOption to work only personal cases if preferredAll travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered on top of a premium rate
