About the opportunity:Work alongside experienced providers, including 2 Physicians and 1 Physician AssistantThe facility boasts a collaborative and supportive environmentThe General Surgeon will be responsible for performing a variety of general surgical procedures, including skin lesion excisions, gall bladder removal, hernia repair, advanced laparoscopy (including colon resection), endoscopy/colonoscopy, and ideally, breast biopsiesDaily caseload typically ranges from 6-10 cases or 15-18 outpatient visitsMonday through Friday with shared call duties 1:3Vascular surgery is not included in this roleCommunity, not-for-profit, acute care, critical access hospitalServing the health needs of over 30,000 people and employing over 700 dedicated staffCompensation and benefits:In addition to a market-leading salary, we offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes loan repayment, relocation assistance, a 401k with company match, generous paid time off, continuing medical education opportunities, a complimentary gym membership, and comprehensive, low-cost health/dental/vision insurance options.
