Reason for Coverage: 24/7 call coverage during the specified datesPractice Setting: Inpatient Pediatric and Neonatal care, including OB consultation and ED admissionsSchedule: 24-hour call coverage with 1-4 hours of onsite roundingEMR: Not specifiedTrauma Level: Not specifiedResponsibilities:
Daily Rounds: Approximately 1-4 hours onsite to manage pediatric and newborn patientsOn-Call Responsibilities: Handle newborn care from OB, admission consults from ED, and med surge calls for neonate and pediatric patients.Neonatal resuscitation, intubation, lines, and emergency medication expertise required to stabilize and transfer if needed.Admissions: Approximately 1 admission per month from the EDPatients per Day: Varies between 0-6No NICU Support: Sick babies will be stabilized and transferred; the provider must be comfortable being the solo provider with no backup coverage.Requirements:
Board Certification: Pediatrics or IM/FM (MUST have significant pediatric and neonatal experience if IM/FM)Oregon License: RequiredTraining: 3-year Pediatric Residency ProgramCertifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRPExperience: Must have managed inpatient care for at least 24 patients in the last 24 monthsClean Malpractice/Background: Required for quick credentialingAdditional Information:
